Locanda Rovicciano - Restaurant Country House
The restaurant, obtained from the old canteens, still has an ancient stone tub which was used to squeeze grapes; original oak beams and ancient brick arches. We decided to create a small place, a comfortable and familiar place to live in, as we like it. We have obtained a big fireplace in one of the three rooms to recreate the atmosphere of the past in the winter evening and enjoy it together with our guests.
All our products are fresh: seasonal fruits and vegetables, first quality and local meats and cheeses, fresh home-made pasta and sweets.
During the summer, the restaurant moves to the open air where you can taste glasses of wine together with sweets or appetizers sitting on the sofas and armchairs of our charming garden. You will enjoy the family and relaxing atmosphere until late, surrounded by glow-worms and crickets sing. Our inn never closes!
Cooking Courses
Thanks to his large experience both in Italy and abroad, Andrea, the professional chef of Locanda di Rovicciano, organizes cooking courses of no more than 4 days each. Classes, concerning Italian, local and creative recipes, are given from 9 a.m to 2 p.m and cost € 70,00 per day (lunch included)
