Locanda di Rovicciano is located between Montefalco and Castel Ritaldi, in the land of the Nop olive oil and Sagrantino wine, precious and typical products coming from  Umbria. If you are looking for a cultural tour, you will discover the close Assisi, Spello and Spoleto or the near Perugia, Gubbio and Orvieto, each of them worthy of attention because of their artistic richness.

Montefalco is situated on the top a beautiful hill in the middle of Clitunno, Topino and Tevere Rivers Valleys and thanks to its location it has been called “The Umbrian Railing”. In the surrounding countryside there are many canteens where to taste and enjoy the wonderful Sagrantino wine.

Castel Ritaldi is a picturesque small town risen on a Roman site in 200 A.. Located in the small Rovicciano Valley, it has got an enchanting panoramic view. Moreover, part of its territory is covered by beautiful olive groves which produce one of the most valuable olive oil of this region.

In this area it is possible to play many sports such as archery or horse riding at the nearest riding grounds and schools. You can also enjoy extreme sports such as hand paragliding and gliding on the mountains of the Sibillini National Park or rafting, experiencing exiting downhills canoeing on Nera River along Valnerina gullies.
